Violence against girls & women is considered as one of the most widely spread human rights violation in the world. Such violence does not see any boundary for age, caste, culture, geography, wealth etc. This violence against women takes place almost everywhere, whether it is at home or at work. Research says that more than 70% of women across the world are beaten, forced into sex or abused all through their lifetime.

But today, the Public Planning awareness campaign has really reached all over. Many government organizations have now come forward to help the campaign.

The Public planning campaign has broadened their network and now many government organizations have come forward to initiate all the required steps to stop such violence. With the help of the UN and the government, violence against girls and women can be controlled to a great extent.

United Nations has kept a budget of $500 million every year to help violence affected women all across the globe. Many government organizations have already helped attain their target with many even promising to support the awareness programme.

This awareness programme not only helps violence against women but also educate those involved on how to respect girls and women. The programme also provides legal assistance, psychological counseling, health care and awareness to women of how to fight and whom to reach when in need.
